Sarah C. Yung spins things from words sometimes. Other times, she can be found reading, eating, and dreaming (though generally not simultaneously). Sarah is a staunch supporter of libraries, coffee, and the Oxford comma.
Graduating Phi Beta Kappa and Summa Cum Laude, Sarah earned her Bachelor of Arts in Film Studies and English (with concentrations in creative writing and world literature) and minored in Gender Studies and Chinese.
Throughout her three years at University of the Pacific, Sarah served as Co-Editor-in-Chief of the nationally award-winning literature and arts magazine Calliope; worked as the Copy and Content Editor (and a Staff Reporter) for The Pacifican; interned at the fashion journalism company CollegeFashionista; and held executive positions on the boards of Sigma Tau Delta, the international English honor society, and Omega Eta Epsilon, the professional language fraternity dedicated to children’s literacy.
Born and raised in the San Francisco Bay Area, Sarah is currently pursuing a Master of Fine Arts in Creative Writing at The New School in New York City.
